The toll-free telephone number is available on weekdays (except statutory holidays) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST. The Client Services can:
- provide general information to the public about registered charities;
- confirm whether an organization is a registered charity;
- handle requests for public documents such as a registered charity’s annual information return and/or financial statements;
- provide operational guidance to existing registered charities such as how to complete the annual information return (Form T3010) and how to issue official donation receipts; and *provide information to potential applicants on how to apply for registration and how to complete the application (Form T2050).
